Course overview

All humans are hardwired for attachment. An attachment injury is a specific relational incident where one partner violates the expectation that s/he will offer comfort and caring in times of danger and distress. (Sue Johnson). Such injuries lead to permeant blocks in the attachment connection in relationships to self and others. This training will teach the 8 steps of attachment injury repair to help clients restore secure attachment to themselves and in their relationships.
