This course explores the identification, consequences, and resolution of different types of sexual harassment in the workplace. This course familiarizes participants with what constitutes sexual harassment. It discusses the legal definition of sexual harassment as well as how to recognize sexual harassment. It also reviews how to handle and prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. The procedures for investigating a sexual harassment complaint are also presented. The employee will be able to recognize sexual harassment circumstances and take remedial action consistent with the guidelines of the law. Recommendations are presented for preventing and deterring inappropriate sexual behaviors at work, including how to model behavior that is conducive to a sexual harassment–free environment.
