This program will update healthcare providers' ability to recognize, prevent and treat hypoglycemia in tightly controlled type1 diabetes. Readers will be able to: discuss the physiological response to hypoglycemia, identify causes of hypoglycemia in relation to diabetes self-management, and describe interventions for the prevention and treatment of hypoglycemia.
