Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy Center for Opioid Research, Education, and Outreach has partnered with the Alabama Department of Public Health and the University of South Alabama Office of CME to host an interdisciplinary summit focused on substance misuse. This knowledge-based program is intended for a multidisciplinary audience including but not limited to physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social workers, mental health professionals, community leaders, and law enforcement professionals. Featured Speaker is Ben Carson, MD, joined by Cherry Jackson, PharmD, Garrett Aikens, PharmD, Kevin DeStefano, DEA, and State Officials.
