Learner Objectives: As a result of having attended the meeting, the participants should have had the opportunity to: Objectives: 1. To understand, in general, the impact on prematurity on respiratory system. 2. To be aware of the main limitations in breath hold diving related to hypercapnia. 3. To be aware of physiological mechanisms explaining why the proportion of preterm within the elite freedivers is higher than in general population. 4. To understand the basic treatment and adjunctive therapies for renal abscess. 5. To understand the mechanism by which hyperbaric oxygen therapy works effectively against severe infections.
