Course overview

A solid foundation of the most current information and considerations in treating an athlete with musculoskeletal related impairments and functional limitations is required for both new and seasoned sports medicine clinicians. Hospital for Special Surgery has developed a sports core curriculum series highlighting various body regions, surgical procedures and specialty topics often managed by clinicians who treat this population. Current evidence-based rehabilitation principles, classification systems and injury specific guidelines developed by HSS Rehabilitation will be discussed for a wide array of topics. This presentation will discuss treatment considerations for the hip.
