Course overview

In this course, rehabilitation therapists will learn about Motivational Interviewing (MI) and how to apply it to help patients discover their own desire and ability to make changes. You will learn about the foundations of MI and specific skills needed to help a patient engage in change. The course uses a blend of instructive information and interactive exercises to help you understand and apply the core concepts of MI. This course teaches rehabilitation professionals MI skills to help patients overcome ambivalence and make positive changes.
