Course overview

The mediastinum is the most common site for extragonadal germ cell tumors. Imaging and lab monitoring are important components of care for patients with this diagnosis. Radiology technologists and laboratory professionals play important roles both individually and as parts of the interprofessional team during diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care of patients with mediastinal germ cell tumors. This course provides laboratory professionals and imaging technologists with information on the care and management of patients with mediastinal germ cell tumors.
