Course overview
Certified Facilitator of Adult Learning, CFAL, is a self-paced, interactive 20-hour online course designed for participants to create their own training courses, programs, in-services, or workshops for patients, staff, community, and professional continuing education. A holistic view of adult learning integrates knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and feelings that are emphasized in every stage of course design. Throughout the program, participants receive written personalized guidance by submitting their own course designs for feedback at seven key milestones. CFAL delves into the art and science of effective adult learning, enabling participants to provide programs that develop competence and confidence in their own participants. Successful completion of CFAL results in becoming a Certified Facilitator of Adult Learning.
