Atrial fibrillation is the most common cardiac dysrhythmia encountered by both EMS personnel. However, many providers lack an understanding of the condition and appropriate management. In this course, providers will gain a better understanding of the etiology and pathophysiology of atrial fibrillation, as well as the acute and long-term risks that patients with atrial fibrillation face.
