Course overview

In this four hour module, we will examine conception and the first trimester of gestation through the lens of the Eight Extraordinary Meridians. Known as the Ancestral Vessels, these channels are the only ones active in the fetus during gestation, and are thus a powerful means of influencing fetal growth and development. This course will provide an overview of the physiological and anatomical process of conception and early pregnancy, providing the practitioner with a clear understanding of the allopathic prenatal care their patient is receiving, including typical first trimester testing and screening. We will discuss common first trimester complaints and symptoms, and provide treatment protocols for addressing them in detail. Case studies will be presented.
