EIGHT EXTRAS AND THE CHILDBEARING CYCLE: MODULE 2 SECOND TRIMESTER

Course overview

In this four hour module, we will discuss the second trimester of gestation from both the allopathic and Chinese Medical perspectives. We will cover the physiology of this stage of gestation, along with energetics, common complaints, and treatment strategies/protocols. Students will be educated in the common prenatal tests and screenings done during this phase of pregnancy, and will be offered methods for preventing imbalances that may arise at this time. Cases will be presented.
