Professional Use of Self in Challenging Situations

Course overview

This workshop will engage participants to reflect on their mysterious and powerful practice skill by developing an understanding of their own perspective and the perspectives of their clients. Participants will explore and seek to understand culturally sensitive and supportive strategies and skill development to support the needs of people to transform young children and their families with intense expressions of affect, through videos, evidence- based practice and case scenarios.
