Course overview
One time CME requirement for Florida-licensed MDs and DOs who are renewing their Florida license for the first time. This course addresses all mandatory content specified by Florida law. This course is designed to enhance learner's understanding and management of HIV/AIDS through a comprehensive review of essential topics, such as modes of transmission, infection control procedures, epidemiology of HIV and related infections, clinical management, prevention, and current Florida laws and protocols related to testing, treatment, and reporting and partner notification. Participants will learn how to implement protocols and procedures for HIV in accordance with the Florida laws, allowing learners to navigate the complexity of HIV testing and support patients effectively.
