0202-0000-24-320-L04-P - IHS pharmacy departments are often subject to low retention and high rates of turnover. This can negatively impact the stability of a program including maintenance of regulatory compliance and ability to expand pharmacy services. This presentation will discuss the experiences of a new Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor to include: facilitating a departmental construction project, establishing and maintaining USP 797 compliance, creating new positions, implementing tools to enhance pharmacists' competency, adoption of new protocols, and vision for the future of the department.
