Course overview
In this Practical, early-stage ankle sprain management principles are covered including manual therapy, taping and shoe inserts for symptom management, foot strength training, balance and proprioception exercises. More advanced rehabilitation concepts are then demonstrated such as heavy calf strength or rate of force development, triple extension drills, jumping and hopping progressions, and reactive direction change. Tips on symptoms to watch for are also highlighted throughout the rehabilitation process.
