CNA/HHA ASSISTANCE WITH SELF MEDICATIONS

Course overview

This course is designed to assist the unlicensed health care personnel with client self administration of their medications. The course covers Florida law in relation to assistance with medications as well as information on medication routes, medication labels, approved abbreviations and proper documentation of this assistance. Classifications of medications and a review of medication errors is also presented.
