Course overview

In this course, physical therapists will learn examination strategies to identify key features of common joint, nerve, and tendon impairments of the hand. Conditions discussed include De Quervain's tenosynovitis, trigger finger, carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes, osteoarthritis, and Dupuytren's disease. A series of case studies will guide physical therapists and assistants through evidence-based treatment approaches and ways to monitor therapeutic progress.
