Course overview

Share proven strategies in working with foreign national survivors for both law enforcement and victim service providers while encouraging participants to broaden their understanding of available exit ramps and access to services. Presenters will demonstrate the value of marshaling the resources of the Governors Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force to combat human trafficking. Critical resources include interpretation, access to public benefits, culturally specific services, intel analysts and the importance of working with multiple state agencies to support investigations. Presenters will draw upon field experience working on the Massage Parlor Case of 2014, Egg Farm Case of 2015, and a 2019 sex trafficking case from California focused on IMI in hotel brothels.
