Designed to reorient negative or distorted thought patterns and associated behaviors with an evidence-based approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can effectively treat patients with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and various other conditions. This course will introduce and apply key CBT methodologies, emphasizing motivation-building components such as Motivational Interviewing, Values Assessments, and more, to enhance the model's ability to stimulate positive change in adolescent populations. Using real-life scenarios to train patients in the skills they need to create and maintain these key cognitive and behavioral changes, this course will empower therapists and their patients to harness the power of CBT in a highly practical and sustainable manner.
