Specialized clinical tests have become the backbone to evidence-based practice, but many therapists struggle with selecting and applying the best test for a dysfunction. When the clinician has selected a relevant test to use, oftentimes the test is only conducted at evaluation and discharge, causing the test to lose much of its potential value. and what those interventions should be. Clinicians will return to their place of practice understanding the importance of gait speed and how strength deficits can negatively affect it. This course will provide easy to use methods for selecting the best special test on evaluation and utilizing those tests during everyday routine treatments. Through real-world case examples and analysis of current research, participants will learn when patients require therapeutic intervention. Teaching methods will include lecture, and participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions throughout the course.
