Led by Stacy Ruse, LPC, RYT, this 3-hour workshop provides a comprehensive and result-driven overview of Internal Family Systems Therapy, a highly effective and non-pathologizing modality used widely in various contexts today. When combined, Polyvagal and Internal Family Systems Therapy empower clinicians with a complete tool kit for resolving the internal conflicts and heightened awareness states that feed into depression, anxiety, and several other concerns. This course blends these two mindful approaches to help you teach patients vital self-regulation skills while fostering a sense of resilience. You will learn how to apply the core tenets of Polyvagal theory with the 5 P's of Internal Family Systems therapy to promote self-mastery for your patients, allowing them to manage their internal parts (using IFS therapy's 6 F's) and remain calm and content in a wide range of situations. The material is delivered within a culturally inclusive and competent framework, ensuring that you can teach these regulation techniques effectively to a diverse range of patients in varied contexts.
