Introduction to Kinesiology Taping; the lecture components & lab techniques consist of the latest evidence-based research, referencing a variety of taping methods and does not replicate nor replace KT Method or any introductory kinesiology taping certification courses. Instruction is for educational purposes only; and in good faith, each component is current & originally developed. Significant debate remains regarding kinesiology taping clinical efficacy, further research is warranted. Participants accept full responsibility for any injuries and/or any risks that may occur from practicing taping techniques throughout the duration of the course, as both a patient and practitioner. Although full participation is expected, all course participants have the right to refuse to perform or receive any technique that is taught during this course. Seminar is open to healthcare professionals licensed in good standing including PTs, PTAs, as well as Physical Therapy/Assistant students in good academic standing attending CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant programs.
