Brainspotting is an emerging treatment method based on finding somatic cues through the use of eye gaze for the treatment of stress and trauma. This workshop from the developer presents Brainspotting as a psychotherapy that views the human condition and human suffering from a global, developmental and neurological point of view, which he calls a neuroexperiential model. Youll explore: How Brainspotting works and how it differs from other trauma processing therapies How to utilize and integrate Brainspotting into ongoing treatment, especially with complex developmental trauma including attachment and dissociation manifestations Live demonstrations of how Brainspotting works in clinical practice
