DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE This course will describe clinical case studies of a variety of hypertensive patient clinical scenarios. The course will use the latest research and data to understand the current management of hypertension, health risk factors associated with hypertension, and progressive stages of the disease. It will include how to assess hypertension through proper history taking and examination. The course will offer information about lifestyle recommendations, use of supplements, exercise, and other treatment recommendations including pharmaceuticals. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this seminar, participants are expected to be able to: 1. Understand the disease hypertension 2. Understand the proper evaluation process and determine level of hypertension 3.
