As a result of participating in this activity the learner will be able to: List recent changes in the epidemiology of HIV/AIDS in the United States; Define recent trends in the use of antiretroviral therapy in HIV/AIDS patient; Recognize recent contemporary issues in HIV infection prevention with regard to pre-exposure prophylaxis(PREP) and HIV-Hepatitis C coinfection.
