Course overview

Fundamentals in the Management of Traumatic Injury is a joint initiative among multiple service lines. This course aims to educate providers about the key evidence-based recommendations of the TBI guidelines. These Trauma Foundation guidelines have decreased mortality by 50%. The course content includes initial patient assessment, helpful resources, the adult severe Guidelines for the Management of Severe Trauma patients and pearls of surgical management, as well as an international perspective. The course will be of interest to all clinical personnel who care for trauma patients, providing learners with current best evidence practices for patients with severe traumatic injury.
