Upon completion of this 2 hour program of study, the participants will be able to: Define Dementia Identify Behavior Disturbances associated with Dementia Consumers List 3 non verbal communication Identify 3 reasons why ADLs pose a challenge to Demented caregivers Explain 3 skills for encouraging participation in nutritional intake Verbalize three reasons for medications usage r/t behavior problem Articulate the role of the demented care giver State 3 ways to relieve self related stress Targeted audiences: APRN, RNs, LPNs, C.N.A.'s, other healthcare providers 2 contact hours
