Dr. Daniel Fox will provide an overview of schizophrenia, including its neurodevelopmental basis, clinical presentation, and evidence-based treatment strategies. The course also distinguishes early-onset schizophrenia (EOS) from adult-onset cases for more targeted diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Fox addresses several key ethical implications of schizophrenia treatment, especially in cases involving vulnerable populations and electronic monitoring or other adherence strategies. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the practical insights and knowledge needed to formulate treatment approaches that ethically improve overall outcomes. This includes diagnosis, treatment, and key modifications based on each person's presentation.
