Course overview
This course provides an overview of key aspects of evidence-based care for patients undergoing diagnostic tests for GI conditions. You will learn about the indications, contraindications, testing preparation and procedure, and nursing care for common tests. The course also presents how to collect and handle specimens to ensure diagnostic accuracy and integrity. The goal of this course is to help nurses prepare for the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses (ABCGN) certification exam.
