Course overview

This is a 16.5 hour pre-recorded online summit bringing together 19+ professionals, designed for introductory professional development for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants. The summit explores play and the role of clinicians in supporting underlying developmental skills or difficulties (like praxis, and retained primitive reflexes) as well as decreasing barriers to access to play (for example: for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities) and how engagement in developmentally supporting play can be promoted in various practice areas (for example: Early Intervention, Preschool settings). The summit also trains clinicians on parent coaching on engaging children in play.
