Course overview

The HEMME Approach to Pain course combines theory and technique to produce a state-of the-art pain course that draws from many different fields including physiatry, osteopathy, dentistry, and chiropractic. Since soft-tissue therapy is an integrated science and musculoskeletal pain is not unique to any one profession, only by using a comprehensive approach can we fully explore the relationship between soft-tissue therapy and pain. Goal: The HEMME Approach to Managing Pain course was written to help practitioners understand how soft-tissue therapy can be used to relieve pain.
