HEMME Approach to Medical Errors will explore medical errors by using three steps (1) define soft-tissue therapy, (2) define the HEMME Approach, and (3) show how the HEMME Approach can be used to avoid medical errors. Using a systems theory approach such as the HEMME Approach to prevent or reduce medical errors is not unique since most hospitals and clinics are already using a systems theory approach of one type or another to standardize procedures and improve patient safety. Goal: To analyze the root causes for medical errors and suggest ways to prevent or reduce errors that jeopardize the safety of a patient.
