The purpose of this course is to eucate healthcare providers on the responsible prescribing of controlled substances, with a focus on minimizing abuse and ensuring patient safety. This course covers best practices in patient assessment, risk evaluation, and monitoring for potential misuse, as well as the latest regulatory guidelines for controlled substance management. Participants will gain practical strategies for maintaining compliance, effective documentation, and utilizing Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMPs) to support safe prescribing practices.
