With pronounced longevity and improved survival after myocardial infarcts, we see more patients than ever with heart failure. Patients with chronic low cardiac outputs can be a challenge to manage, especially as new medications and management tools become available every year. During this session, Cyndi Zarbano, MSN-Ed, CCRN, CMSRN, LNC, will explore emergency interventions for acute decompensation, causes, and new management guidelines to treat and slow the progression of the heart failure disease process.
