Course overview
Behavioral health professionals must be able to practice ethically, abide by a code of ethics and laws, and follow a guide for ethical decision-making. They need ethical decision-making strategies because the answers to complicated situations are often unclear. This course will provide information about common ethical challenges, the impact of legal issues on ethical dilemmas, and how to apply ethical decision-making models to various ethical dilemmas. It will allow individuals to apply an ethical decision-making model to scenarios and solidify ethical decision-making skills better to prepare them for ethical conundrums in the field.
