Course overview

In this extremely brief 1 CE hour training, we will provide the following training, including information about: Skin deterioration with aging Seborrheic keratosis Hyperpigmentation issues Shingles/Herpes Zoster Massage and bodywork recommendations for working with geriatric skin The majority of training will be an instructor demonstration of a geriatric skin moisturizing and joint mobilization session. Students can also download two student files to keep with their training, including a small student workbook about geriatric skin plus a step-by-step sequence of the geriatric skin moisturizing and joint mobilization session. Please be sure to download your student files in your home study account before it is deactivated with your course expiration. We do not recommend working on geriatric clients until you have completed comprehensive geriatric massage and/or bodywork training. This is only a brief one hour training about geriatric skin with an hands-on instructor demonstration. Students seeking information about geriatric skeletal, bone and/or joint changes should take our more comprehensive geriatric training in one of our longer courses, or with another CE provider.
