Self-paced Online Home Study Bodywork for Cardiovascular Compromised Clients

Course overview

This 3 CE Hour Bodywork for cardiovascular compromised clients includes training on how to provide Sweet Session bodywork. While we mostly review how to provide hands-on massage and bodywork with various cardiovascular conditions with aging clients such as geriatrics, our Sweet Session bodywork appointment is for any client who is cardiovascular compromised, and cannot receive regular circulatory body massage. Sweet Session bodywork is a full body appointment that is provided in the pronated or semi-recumbent position, and includes joint rotation, energy work, muscle and bone tracing and light massage of the hands and feet. Students will be provided 3 different options to provide a Sweet Session during this course as well. Once students learn how to provide a Sweet Session they can use this bodywork for other clients in their practice, such as those who have lost skin integrity, pregnant women with eclampsia, oncology clients and more. We will also review cardiovascular system senescence, with common aging cardiovascular conditions and how to provide hands-on adjustments and accommodations during your appointments for those specific clients.
