Treatment Plan Decision Making through a Live Session with a Person with Parkinsons Webinar
Tracking # 20-1278132
Course overview
Worldwide over 8.5 million people are living with Parkinsons. This complex neurodegenerative disorder presents with a wide variety of motor sensory cognitive and mood-related symptoms. Each person with Parkinsons (pwP) will have unique symptoms and functional needs. While numerous guidelines and articles exist on assessing and treating pwP putting theory into practice can be challenging. Physiopedia Plus previously hosted a live assessment with Jim a pwP based in the United Kingdom and his physiotherapist Bhanu. In this webinar Jim and Bhanu return to continue their session and focus on care plan creation and treatment selection. You will see how to adapt and modify treatment interventions to best suit aspects of Jims physical health and treatment goals. Join Bhanu and Jim to deepen your understanding of Parkinsons care through a live treatment demonstration that effectively brings theory to life. Building on the previous webinar which focused on assessing persons with Parkinsons this session aims to pick up where we left off and explore functional and practical treatment options.
