The Advanced Deep Tissue Massage course is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to working on clients with muscle tension and limited range of motion. Students will be taught advanced palpation techniques to determine what muscle can receive deep tissue massage. Students will be able to apply moderate to deep-guided pressure while monitoring the depth of pressure based on client feedback and tissue response. Students will also understand the importance of educating clients about the benefits of deep tissue massage to increase clientele and build a successful practice.

Some common activities that you may be expected to do during your course are as follows:
o reading and taking notes on course material
o participating in class discussions, and hands-on skills
o communicating with your instructor and/or classmates during assignments given during class.
Practical Exams
If you are not present at the end of the course for your hands-on practical, you will not receive a certificate of completion to receive CEU’s for the course.
Attendance
This course requires you to be in attendance to receive credit. If you are not in attendance you will not receive credit for the course.
