Course overview

Whether by design or default, you see a lot of challenging canine lameness cases. You have experienced the thrill of restoring mobility, lifestyle, and comfort to many of your patients, but you have also tasted the bitterness of defeat. You wish that there was something more that you could do to develop your skills as a canine lameness diagnostician and to have a few more therapeutic tools at your disposal. The good news is that YOU were who we were thinking about when we designed this one of a kind course in Canine Sports Medicine. In this course, you will enjoy approximately 6 hours of online learning at your own pace and in your place as you prepare for your more intensive in-person hands-on training. In this hybrid course you will learn to: Confidently perform both a screening- and comprehensive-ortho/neuro exam. Perform arthrocentesis for synovial fluid analysis, diagnostic joint blocks, and/or intra-articular therapy. Perform needle arthroscopy on the elbow, shoulder, and stifle as well as describe its indications Discuss available intra-articular therapies and the advantages/disadvantages of each Discuss the important constituent variables in various preparations of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Process platelet rich plasma (PRP)
