Course overview

Stage III Intermediate Level Clinical Electrodiagnosis consists of lecture and laboratory instruction with emphasis on intermediate to advanced NCS studies, integration of EMG and NCS, Neuromuscular Ultrasound, SSEP, ANS training and case studies. Theory, practice and clinical utility of Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP) and Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) testing will be covered in this course. Theory, practice and clinical utility of Neuromuscular Ultrasound will be also covered in this course. This stage includes case studies and lectures on special topics in NCS/EMG. The stage will present a variety of case studies - both basic and simple and patients with complex problems. Other topics - both administrative and clinical - will be presented as well. Successful completion of this stage requires completion of all online lectures and quizzes and reading all assigned readings.
