Tracheostomy Tube Management for BLS Providers

Course overview

This lecture will identify upper and lower airway anatomical differences for the patient with a tracheostomy. The learner will understand routine tracheostomy care and manage the tracheostomy tube emergency. The lecture will also review the cognitive related issues for patients, caregivers and EMS for patients with special healthcare needs.
