HANA of Florida, Inc. Bi-annual Leadership Institute

Course overview

The leadership institute is a bi-annual educational event coordinated by the Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida, Inc., (HANA) that allows nurses to advance and enhance leadership abilities. -The leadership institute seeks to empower and cultivate nurses and HANA members to take on and maintain leadership roles in the association and the workplace. -The leadership institute aims to empower nurses and HANA members to know their purpose as nurse leaders. -Understand the roles and responsibilities of a leader in a community-based nursing organization such as HANA. In addition, the leadership institution aims to provide the attendees with the skills needed to build a leadership pipeline for future nurse leaders. -Refine leadership skills of those in nursing leadership roles.
