This brief 1 CE hour course is all about the stones. From their genetic make-up to classifying stones, names of stones and stone categories used for stone bodywork. This course includes minimal hands-on instructor demonstration of using placement stones. We will review: Placement stones Working stones/palm stones Cozy stones Trigger point stones Round stones and more In this brief 1 CE hour training, we are not attempting to teach students how to practice hot stone massage. In this very short class, we are simply teaching what we feel is best to use for hot stone massage application. The stones are tools or an extension of a massage therapist's hands. Using the correct tools in hot stone massage is an important part of a successful application.
