Course overview

Recent estimates indicate that between 10% and 15% of horses experience laminitis each year. Endocrine disease is the cause in approximately 80% to 90% of these cases, affecting 1 million horses annually in the US alone. For 25 years, the ECIR Group has supported education designed to prevent equine metabolic laminitis with these four basic tenets: Diagnosis, Diet, Trim, and Exercise. Past conference attendees welcomed the latest in research and specific protocols used to improve the welfare of equines in their care. The 2025 NO Laminitis!
