Course overview

This 3 CE hour course will primarily be hands-on instructor demonstrations of side-lying massage that can be administered to select prenatal, oncology and other clients requiring an alternative position to prone or supinated bodywork. Practitioners must seek prenatal or oncology training to properly work on those select subjects. This course does not provide massage contraindications or theory training. It's primarily a hands-on course with multiple instructor demonstrations of massage administered while the client is lying on both the left and right hand sides of the body, and then some time is provided for students to practice along with the video training after the demonstrations have been provided. One lomi massage stroke will be demonstrated for the upper body as well as several unique effleurage strokes that can be administered in either a seated or standing position.
