There are over 16 million living veterans in the United States according to the U.S. Census Bureau and only a small fraction of them receive their healthcare from Veterans Administration hospitals. Chances are that OTs, OTAs and students will be treating veterans in their practice setting. In this session you will learn more about these clients who served in our Nations defense and how you can better address their needs. Target Audience is Occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, occupational therapy students providing services to adult populations.
