Master De-escalation and documentation of critical incidents

Course overview

With the societal rise in crime that is affecting all industries, Alpha Innovative Solutions, LLC has created a 1-hour course curriculum to focus on how veterinary office practice and staff can reduce liability increase workplace situational awareness, recognize and manage threats, and confidently ensure proper documentation after high-stress situations. Attendees will understand and identify threats in and around their clinics. Attendees will be asked to participate to enhance their learning experience. Attendees will develop an understanding of proper social distancing, learn to use spatial awareness to de-escalate tense situations while learning to establish and respect personal boundaries, while managing and interpreting verbal and non-verbal communication with abusive clients. Lastly, attendees will understand the best practice of proper documentation to memorialize critical incident reports for the protection of their practice and their staff.
