Anesthesia Considerations

Course overview

This online course for veterinary nurses and veterinary technicians aims to highlight patients that require specific consideration and individual planning prior to general anesthesia. These patients include the paediatric and senior patient, the underweight and overweight patient, patients with chronic renal disease and hyperadrenocorticism. The final module to complete the course is cardiopulmonary resuscitation, a subject that is always a common request, which includes the updated RECOVER guidelines from 2024. This is an on-demand four module course with unlimited lifetime access, where each module consists of a tutorial, quiz and further reading. Module 1: The Young, The Old, and Anesthesia!
